(五類天, 五类天)

The five kinds of (sa) devas:

(1) [lang id =1028]上界天 in the upper realms of form and non-form;

(2) [lang id =1028]虛空天 in the sky, i. e. four of the six (sa) devas of the desire-realm;

(3) [lang id =1028]地居天 on the earth, i. e. the other two of the six (sa) devas, on Sumeru;

(4) [lang id =1028]遊虛天空 wandering (sa) devas of the sky, e. g. sun, moon, starvas,

(5) [lang id =1028]地下天 under-world (sa) devas, e. g. (sa) nāgas, (sa) asuras, (sa) māras, etc. Of. [lang id =1028]五大明王.

一、 上界天， 即色界及無色界之諸天； 二、 虛空天， 即欲界六天中夜摩天以上之四天， 也就是居於虛空之天； 三、 地居天， 即欲界六天中之四王天與忉利天， 也就是依須彌山之地而居之天； 四、 遊虛空天， 即日月星宿等； 五、 地下天， 即龍阿修羅及閻魔王等所居之處。 凡是能放光明有自在之力的， 都叫做天。
